Spowdi is looking for a business oriented Junior Project Manager who wants to join an international company in strong growth to take responsibility for the planning and execution of our projects. The junior project manager role is very cross functional and aligns especially delivery, cost, quality, capacity and performance to meet customer needs.
About Spowdi
Spowdi is a green tech company aiming for global impact through millions of small-hold farmers. The world runs on fossil fuel to a large extent, and so does agriculture. Many of the world's 500 million small-hold farms are dependent on irrigation systems that are either run by diesel or by the fossil-powered energy grid. Spowdi wants to see the agricultural sector cut its ties to fossil. We have a patented solar-powered solution for distributing water that is not only emission-free but is also better suited for irrigation than the commonly used diesel pumps. Spowdi has subsidiaries in India and Spain, and our first product on the market is Spowdi Mobile Pro. It is a system designed to grow more food with less water and no emissions, which will both enhance living conditions for millions of people and help reach the UN sustainability goals.
Job description
As a junior project manager, you are responsible for planning, organizing, performing, and delivering operations related to ongoing projects in the company. It is a varied role where you participate in and oversee company projects to make sure they are running as planned. Computer skills are extremely important, and you will need to be capable of using basic office software program and the ability to type and run various company reports.
It is a full-time position that is based in Stockholm. International travel will be frequent.
Responsibilities
As Junior Project Manager, you will be involved in the daily operations of the Company pursuant to the guidelines and instructions the Chief Operational Officer (COO) communicates from time to time.
· Complete assigned tasks within schedule, allocated budgets, and scope to the required quality.
· Support the CMO, CCO and COO in Business development projects.
· Interact and develop relationships with customers, suppliers, distributors, partners, and stakeholders both in Sweden, India, and other countries.
· Take part in multi-disciplinary and international teams.
· Translate plans into operational activities that produce timely, measurable outcomes that will meet Spowdi's mission and goals.
· Perform relevant studies and market research.
· Translate metrics into actionable, meaningful intelligence.
· Ensure the realization of a project: planning, budgeting and cost control, implementation, task & change management, follow-up, reporting etc.
· Be an agent for change within projects and Spowdi as a whole.

It is a role with technical elements - requires you to develop both technology and leadership in the role
· You have a strong interest in people and technology and find it easy to adapt in cross-cultural teams in a cross-functional environment.
Strong communication & presentation skills (e.g., presenting problems, proposing solutions, convincing, influencing, etc.)
Ability to rethink operations across the organization, comfortable with change management, and possess the ability to mobilize people and encourage innovation, rather than staying comfortable with antiquated technology and procedures.
· A self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with great attention to detail, and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
· Significant knowledge of sustainability, smart farming, and project management.
· Interested in and knowledgeable about Life cycle assessments (LCA).
· University degree in Engineering / Business / Sustainability.
· Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
· Proficiency in English, and Indian languages (Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu) both written and spoken.
