The Global business development Function
We are seeking a dynamic Global Business Development Manager for SHL Healthcare AB, a market leader in Contract Development and Contract Manufacturing in the MedTech industry.
The BD Manager will work with the Business Development team with a focus on bringing new, and working with existing, business within the scope of our capabilities. An important part is customer relations for expanded business and improved communication and customer service. You have a passion for sales, have a university degree in business or engineering and prefer working in an international environment. You have a solid experience from successful roles within complex sales- and business development preferably from medical technology or other related business area. You speak fluent English. You have a proven track record of positive sales performance in previous roles. This position should attract individuals who is motivated by working as a team to ensure our customers satisfaction and seeing challenges as an opportunity for personal development.

Job description:
Maintain and develop/increase the existing customer business
Explore prospects and develop new customer business
SHL Healthcare Business Development team member
Work with our business and CRM process
Ownership of customer portfolio and overall responsible for customer service and satisfaction for these customers
Collaborate with other internal functions and be active part of the company product development projects and R&D
Manage timelines and budgets
Keep UpToDate with market trends, competition, business opportunities, technological and product development

Responsibility
Lead and Supervise the Development team, incl. everyday leadership and coaching, salary reviews, performance appraisals, recruitments and to develop and optimize the working routines.
Contribute in continuous improvement of Business and Quality Management processes and forms used for Design Control as applicable to the R&D organization.
Responsible together with the Head of Project Management for customer project resource allocation. Key member of Project Steering group to support project throughput.
Create vision, strategy and take decisions for the Development functions in accordance to the business directives, strategy and policy’s
Together with the Heads of Technology, make sure an efficient maintenance/ sustainability process is maintained and resourced as appropriate to facilitate rapid throughput of released product changes
Responsible to follow applicable parts of the Quality Management System to ensure that regulatory compliance and product quality is always secured.


Qualification
-Strong knowledge with project management, mechanical design, testing and regulation specification, new product introduction process and quality requirements; in particular for medical devices
-Extensive experience with the product life cycle, the methodology of target management and process management, and has a corresponding specific field experience; in particular for medical devices
-Strong interpersonal- and communication skills
-Strong entrepreneurial and commercial mindset
-Ability to develop vision, formulate strategy and exercise good judgment implementing change through effective change management
-Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
-Strong drive and ability to work independently
-Ability to inspire and build strong trust bounds at all levels, achieving results through others.
