Part of our R&D, in the international cross functional ‘Product Information’ team at our headquarters in Sickla, you will work in close cooperation with product managers, illustrators, designers, developers and compliance with the goal to ensure that the right information is communicated at the right time, for the right user with the right quality. Responsibilities


Based on information in white papers, design documents and specifications you will use and interact with software to create user friendly guides that explain complex topics in an understandable and accessible manner. 
Using your UX writing skills to improve the product itself, not just the information. 
Be involved in several internal projects with stakeholders from R&D, Market etc. 
Create structured information within a CCMS, then distribute content to many different channels including online help, print and web pages.

Qualifications


Several years of experience as a technical writer or communicator from an international, preferably industrial, company.
A technical university degree. 
Good project management skills. 
Excellent writing and verbal skills in English.
Text Based Authoring (TBA) experience.

It is a merit if you have experience in UX writing for SW Apps, taxonomy, translation and XML editors such as Oxygen or ST4.

Arbetsuppgifter:

Skapa unika och professionella logotyper och varumärkesidentiteter för kunder från olika branscher.
Designa webbplatser och mobila applikationer som matchar kundens varumärkesidentitet och samtidigt är lätta att använda för besökare.
Designa olika marknadsföringsmaterial som trycksaker, annonser och sociala medier-inlägg för att marknadsföra kundens produkter och tjänster.
Samarbeta med projektledare och kunder för att förstå projektens mål och behov, och skapa designlösningar som uppfyller dessa krav.
Hålla dig uppdaterad om de senaste design- och tekniktrenderna och dela denna kunskap med kollegor och kunder.
Krav:

Erfarenhet av att arbeta som grafisk designer med fokus på webbdesign och logotyper.
Behärskning av olika designprogram som Adobe Creative Suite.
God förståelse för färgteori, typografi och layout.
Kreativt sinne och förmåga att skapa unika och professionella designlösningar.
Förmåga att arbeta i team och kommunicera effektivt med projektledare och kunder.

The role
Your mission will be to bring usability and human needs to the forefront of an app- and a future web-based application used in advanced and large production environments, such as the automotive industry. This application collects data and improves processes via advanced analysis of results to predict maintenance needs or production anomalies.


Most of your daily interactions will be with the product team: developers, tech-leads, product owners etc. You will be part of a centralized multidisciplinary team of designers and usability experts with which you have daily contact and share your progress and feedback in a bi-weekly design review. Over time, you will have the chance to dedicate some percentage of your time to develop conceptual work or proofs of concept for any relevant part of our industry and product portfolio.


Atlas Copco offers a wide variety of assembly systems and solutions for Industry 4.0 worldwide. The Interaction team is an internationally awarded specialist competence team with global responsibility for industrial design, ergonomics, user experience design and studio design engineering within the Atlas Copco Industrial Technique business area. We work in close collaboration with developing units in Sweden, Italy, Germany, UK and the US. The position is situated at the head office in Nacka (Stockholm) and includes some travelling to visit customers and customer center when needed.

What we expect of you
An academic degree in design or related field
Some years hands-on experience in UX design and working agile with web and app development
Experience in concept creation, wireframing, prototyping and usability testing
Experience leading workshops
Knowledge in different research methods to understand and transform customer needs into effective solutions
Knowledge in Adobe suite applications and Adobe XD
Fluent in English, both written and spoken


It is a plus if you have experience working with larger industrial companies (B2B products), good visual design skills and experience using design systems and repositories.
