Responsibilities
Your primary role as Ergonomics Specialist will be to ensure that the human needs of the users of our products are met by conducting ergonomics measurements in our lab, visiting customers; creating and reviewing ergonomics requirements in projects; and supporting development teams with knowledge in the area of ergonomics. You will be working on a wide variety of hand held tools as part of a multidisciplinary design team, towards Engineering and Marketing functions.

Our ergonomics team covers among other areas: noise, vibration, temperature, anthropometrics and forces applied onto the user. You will be working in close collaboration with our other ergonomics specialists, designers and studio engineers in various development projects. There will be opportunities to conduct research and work developing international standards that impact our industry. The position is situated at our head office in Nacka (Stockholm).

Qualifications
Your Profile:
Relevant engineering or design education with previous experience in field of ergonomics
Experience working in development projects using design thinking and user centered design
Defining and communicating ergonomics requirements to other competences 
Mindset for advocating for the user perspective within a project team
Experience from carrying out and interpreting user research 
Ability to write technical reports 
Good planning skills
Good communication/presentation skills 
It is a plus if you have experience from ergonomics and anthropometric standards

The successful candidate must be fluent in English, both written and spoken form. As a person you are structured in planning and follow up. You are a true team player with a “can-do” attitude, easy to interact with as well as eager to learn.

As an Electromechanical / Design Engineer you will work as a part of Center of Excellence team. Your responsibilities includes designing and documentation of the product to ensuring production. You will be working with marketing to ensure the best possible commercialization of the product and also with manufacturing to ensure smooth transition from prototype to production.




To be successful in the position we are expecting the person to have following qualifications:
· Technical studies (mechatronics, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering).
· Min 15+ years in plastic design, especially with (high) tech plastic applications and materials.
· Deep knowledge in injection molding processes (1K, 2K, 3K, overmolded metal components)
· Experience with
o high precision parts produced in high(er) quantities (mandatory)
o production environments of fully automated / semi-automated product assembly (mandatory)
o statistical testing and methods for high precision parts – high reliability parts (mandatory)
o power user of CAD Design Software Solidworks (mandatory)
o in Lean environments, methods and processes
o electric motor layout and specification
· Industrial experience of some of the following areas: technical consumer goods, instruments, laboratory equipments, medical devices, high tech or automotive.
· Confident command of English, both written and spoken.
· High quality awareness and team spirit.

Som konstruktör kommer du arbeta med att ta fram konstruktionsritningar i AutoCad. Rollen erbjuder en stor bredd vad gäller typ av byggnadsverk och discipliner.

Du kommer till exempel att:


* Ta fram konstruktionsritningar i AutoCAD (2D) där du skapar bland annat bygglovsritningar och bygghandlingar
* Säkerställa, tillsammans med dina kollegor, att processen sköts i enlighet med den uppsatta planen
* Ha kontinuerlig kontakt och uppföljning med alla berörda parter i projektet


VI SÖKER DIG SOM
* Har en byggnadsteknisk utbildning som ingenjör/civilingenjör eller liknade med inriktning mot exempelvis Byggnadskonstruktion


* Har goda kunskaper i AutoCAD eller likvärdigt 2D-program
* Har goda kunskaper i Officepaketet
* Kan uttrycka dig väl i tal och skrift, såväl på engelska som på svenska, då kommunikation på båda språken sker dagligen

The position: 
As a senior Design engineer, you will be part of our North-East Design team. You are a key player in the development of creative, functional design concepts together with our end customers and sales companies in Nordic and Russia. You understand modern retail and are motivated in finding solutions for the customer building on the HL values of increase sales, save cost, reduce food waste and creating meaningful differentiation. 
You take the design thru the entire process from first sketches to final drawing, prototypes and test installation.


Area of responsibilities/main duties
* Liaise closely with Account Managers and/or Project Managers to develop customer-focused solutions. Develop strong customer relationships by delivering relevant creative solutions on time and on budget.
* Ensure concept designs are cost-effective, manufacturable and functional by working closely together with Engineers, Creative Designer and Purchaser in Design centre.
* As part of the creative team in Nordic you will share ideas and suggestions within your team and other Design Centers, to take on the ideas of others and develop a centre of creative excellence.
* Use chosen software packages to produce professional high-quality and eye-catching design engineer solutions within the company guidelines.
* Build prototypes in plastic, mainly from heat-bending and laser cutting.
* Manage time effectively to ensure deadlines are achieved. Communicate project status regularly and effectively with Design centre manager.
* Increase existing design engineer practices with stimulating and fresh ideas.


The Design Engineer is located in Nacka Strand and reports to the Regional Design Manager. 




Your Profile: 


We are looking for you with a university degree in Engineering or equivalent. You have at least 5 years of experience from manufacturer in wood, sheet metal or interior design industry or equivalent. All experience from retail companies is a merit. 
As a part of a Design center you need to enjoy working in a team but also independently as an expert in your field. You are highly motivated and have the ability to take ownership and responsibility for design engineer solutions - You will handle your own projects and have your Design Center as support. You are highly creative and innovative and an effective communicator, able to present ideas with clarity and confidence. You will work with many different fast projects at the same time, so work with accuracy and speed is a must. You are fluent in Swedish and English. 




Professional background: 
* Knowledge of extrusion and injection molding in plastic.
* Experience from sheet metal, wood, wire manufacturing is an advantage.
* Experience in engineering design within the Retail and Brand sectors or equivalent.
* Proficient user of SolidWork or equivalent. 
* Good skills in MS Office tools
