Video games development studio Liquid Swords was founded in 2020 by Christofer Sundberg. The mission is to develop highly action focused video games for an adult core audience, with a strong focus on delivering deep and highly entertaining experiences of the highest quality.
The games are based on original intellectual properties created by Christofer Cundberg and his team, who previously have created the +18m selling franchise ‘Just Cause’ as well as The_Hunter, Mad Max, Generation zero, Rage 2 and Renegade Ops. Other members of the team have been playing key roles in the development of such games as Mirror’s Edge, the Battlefield franchise and the Pay Day franchise.
Our ambitions are high and we intend to quickly carve out our space in the open world genre and create open-world game franchises where depth and quality are keywords. Needless to say, we have the experience but also the team and the right game to be off for a great start.

The Audio Director will have an affinity for building rich, layered, and contextual game audio coupled with the skills and experience to execute, ensuring the hard-boiled tonality and style of our game is heard unmistakably throughout the game.

To facilitate the process we are building a custom designed, state-of-the-art audio suite where creative and technical capability flourishes. As Senior Game Designer at Liquid Swords you will lead a team of designers and cooperate closely with other leaders within the creative and production teams. Joining our team now, means that you will be a part of creating video games history, working on the early concept of our next-generation action packed open-world experience.
This is a full-time position based out of Liquid Swords legendary HQ in Nacka, Sweden (10 minutes from the city of Stockholm) in a no-nonsense studio built by concrete and metal. We follow all governments recommendations regarding Covid-19 pandemic and will ensure a safe work environment if you choose to work at the office or from home. ?
What you’ll be doing
Lead and inspire a team of designers.
Collaborate within a cross-disciplinary team.
Collaborate with our team of directors and CCO to carry through the game vision and experience.
Design, implement and fine-tune the game mechanics and systems.
Ensuring the game lives up to our high-quality standards and honor the rules of the Liquid Swords Open World Experience Book of Law (LSOWEBL).
You will report to the Game Director.

Is this you?
A passionate game maker and player with a minimum of five years working with AAA open-world games in a similar role. You possess a positive can-do attitude and are self-motivated, proactive, respectful and committed to ensure a productive, inclusive and a no-ego working environment. You have excellent communication skills and are fluent in English.

Video games development studio Liquid Swords was founded in 2020 by Christofer Sundberg. The mission is to develop highly action focused video games for an adult core audience, with a strong focus on delivering deep and highly entertaining experiences of the highest quality.
The games are based on original intellectual properties created by Christofer Sundberg and his team, who previously have created the +18m selling franchise ‘Just Cause’ as well as The_Hunter, Mad Max, Generation zero, Rage 2 and Renegade Ops. Other members of the team have been playing key roles in the development of such games as Mirror’s Edge, the Battlefield franchise and the PAYDAY franchise.
Our ambitions are high and we intend to quickly carve out our space in the open world genre and create open-world game franchises where depth and quality are keywords. Needless to say, we have the experience but also the team and the right game to be off for a great start.
We are a well-financed start-up and we measure our success with the release of fantastic AAA experiences. We want to work with YOU as an individual and use all your talent and experience to build this game experience.
