We are looking for a UX designer to be a key member of our creative team, who will help us create beautiful products that have a positive impact in people’s lives. You will drive projects from concept to production, taking ownership over UX strategy, user research, translating insights into concepts, creating user journeys, sketches, prototypes and user testing.
As a Senior UX Designer at Above, you will collaborate with an exciting mix of competencies, from industrial designers, to mechanical and software engineers. We are looking for someone that will drive client communication, and deliver best-in-class solutions in a variety of projects: from digital products to physical experiences.
Ultimately we are looking for someone that is passionate about designing for people with holistic eyes, and that has a deep understanding of digital interfaces and interactions — no matter where they materialise.

About the position
Lead UX strategy
Drive client communication, present and pitch to clients
User research planning and execution
Concept development independently and in teams
Illustrate research synthesis and design ideas with storyboards, user flows, customer journey maps.
Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer needs, for a variety of devices and interfaces
User testing and iterating
Mentor junior designers and interns
What we are looking for
Your passion about user-centred design and drive to learn is your most important quality. You are a team player and a problem solver, who can align solutions with client needs — while overseeing the overall process and quality of the work. You are humble enough to take directions, while brave enough to give candid feedback.
5+ years of professional experience working with UX in digital products, preferably at a digital design agency
A deep knowledge in applications like Figma, Sketch, Invision, Principle, FramerX
Broad experience with creating interactive prototypes
Have a passion for designing digital products from a holistic to a detail perspective
Leadership skills to support client & team
Exceptional communication skills both in writing and speech
Comfortable with and used to speaking and presenting in English
Always up-to-date with the latest innovations and trends in the digital world, and with the opportunities and limitations of major digital technologies
