In the role as Electronics Engineer, you are part of a multinational research and development team in Sickla developing industrial tightening tools, control systems and service solutions for the assembly industry. In close interaction with customers worldwide, we create innovative, sustainable and flexible solutions for the industry of the future.

Your role
You design, maintain, improve and implement hardware for the existing generation of power tools and assembly systems, mainly our battery powered tools. Focus is to keep products in line with current regulations, to support factories and to update products according to customers' requests. You work in a cross-functional and agile environment, together with skilled colleagues developing long-lasting solutions to our customers.

You will handle larger investigations and design tasks, as well as make technical judgements to solve urgent issues. You plan and take responsibility for your own activities, from design to test and implementation in production. Challenging problem solving will be part of your daily work.

You report to Leif Ekman, Team Manager Hardware Engineering, R&D.
City: Nacka, Stockholm. We have a hybrid workplace.


To succeed, you will need
You have a technical academic degree and preferably several years of experience in electronic development within industrial electronics.

Are you a mechatronics engineer with experience in testing and verification? Randstad Engineering is now recruiting a consultant who will work as a lab engineer positioned at our client in Nacka. Responsibilities
Main part will be to work in product development projects as lab engineer (verification, test execution, documentation) and also part-time provide hands-on technical mainteinance and adaptations on test equipment in our lab.

You will:
Perform tests according to test specifications
Define verification plans and test time planning for projects
Write and review reports
Provide hands-on technical maintenance and adaptations on test equipment
Drive improvements when it comes to methods and test equipment


Qualifications
As an ideal candidate you have experience in verification testing and reporting, practical mechatronic work (mechanical, electrical) and working with software contolled systems. You have experience in Office programs, PDM/Windchill, JIRA etc. The successful candidate must be fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken form. As a person you are structured in planning and follow up. You are entrepreneurial and a true team player with a “can-do” attitude, easy to interact with as well as eager to learn.

Ansvarsområden
Gruppen har det tekniska ansvaret för produktsortimentet (fixturerade elektriska mutterdragare) vilket innebär upprätthållande av produkternas
kvalité och prestanda. Dessutom konstruerar gruppen löpande kundanpassade specialverktyg åt kunder runt om i världen. Du kommer att vara en viktig del i ett högpresterande team, som arbetar nära våra kunder i ett projekt för att vidareutveckla våra produkter. Verktygen är komplexa och kombinerar mekanik, elektronik och mjukvara där det är viktigt att bemästra hela systemet för att kunna fastställa felorsaker och sedan prova fram lösningar i samarbete med våra konstruktörer och programmerare.

En stor del av jobbet består i att sätta upp och genomföra olika tester där det kommer att ingå att ta fram och vidareutveckla testmetoder och testutrustning samt att säkerställa att gällande standarder följs och att hela arbetet är väldokumenterat. Det som är lite unikt är att man kör hela systemet på riktigt så man får en helhetsbild hur det fungerar. Det är också vanligt att det är olika tester man utför. Därtill kommer du att vara delaktig i att säkerställa kvalitén vid monteringen där du genomför verifiering av monteringsinstruktioner och slutprovningsmetoder.

Kvalifikationer
Vi söker dig som är positiv och lösningsorienterad och som vill jobba med mekanik och elektronik samt är bekväm med mjukvara. Du kan vara högskoleutbildad eller ha arbetat dig fram den praktiska vägen - vad som är viktigt är ditt kunnande och engagemang och vilja att fortsätta utvecklas i ett dynamiskt team. Har du dessutom erfarenhet från mekanisk verkstad är detta meriterande.

About the job
You will join a team of eight SW and HW designers focusing on new innovative products, especially targeted for customers within the energy and electronics segment. We work in close cooperation with Marketing and Sales, Quality and customers word-wide in every step of the way - from initial idea to final product. This means that you will have plenty of contacts and you will be able to see your actual design in action. Expect a varied and developing work.
As an electronic design engineer, you will make new analogue and digital designs, as well as maintaining existing products. You will specify and verify the designs, support external and internal manufacturing with solving technical issues, and be part of the system development.

Your profile
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and some years professional design experience.
