About the Job
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced and technically skilled Electrical Engineer to play a key role in designing and implementing electrical systems for renewable energy projects.
About the Role:
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and dimensioning electrical components, such as cabling, transformers, and switchgear, for renewable energy systems. You will work closely with project planners, managers, and procurement teams, while also collaborating with external grid operators and suppliers. This is a senior role, and we are looking for someone with extensive experience in electrical engineering, particularly in the renewable energy sector.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Design and dimension cabling, transformers, and switchgear for renewable energy systems.
Ensure compliance with Requirements for Generators (RfG) by collaborating with RfG consultants.
Develop and implement selectivity plans to optimize system safety and performance.
Simulate solar parks and energy storage systems, focusing on Power Quality (PQ) diagrams.
Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with suppliers to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
Prequalify new suppliers in collaboration with the procurement team.
Investigate and evaluate connection possibilities for projects, ensuring seamless integration with grid systems.



Who You Are:
We are looking for a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with a deep understanding of electrical design and a strong background in renewable energy systems. You thrive in a technical role where you can apply your expertise to innovative projects, and you’re committed to ensuring high-quality performance and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
We believe you have:
A university degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor's or Master's level).
At least 10 years of experience in power engineering, with expertise in switchgear, relay protection, and electrical installations.
Experience designing and dimensioning switchgear and relay protection systems.
Strong understanding of RfG requirements, energy storage, and FAT procedures.
Experience in the renewable energy sector (solar, wind, hydropower) or with transmission networks.
Certification in low and/or high voltage systems is a plus.

Ditt uppdrag
I rollen som driftchef driver och utvecklar du verksamheten framåt och leder medarbetarna inom gruppen. Tjänsten innefattar personalansvar där fokus ligger i att ge varje medarbetare stöttning, coaching och förutsättningar för att utvecklas och lyckas i sitt uppdrag. I tjänsten driver du egna operativa arbetsuppgifter inom verksamhetsutveckling samt drift och underhåll. Du ingår i bolagets chefsgrupp och rapporterar till nätchef.

- Leda och styra gruppens arbetsuppgifter inom drift- och underhåll av elanläggningar
- Coacha och utveckla personalen
- Ansvara för underhållsplanen inom avdelningen

- Du har arbetat i någon form av ledande position med personalansvar
- Tidigare erfarenhet av att leda projekt och erfarenhet av ekonomi och budgetansvar
- Mycket goda kommunikationskunskaper i svenska i såväl tal som skrift
- Du har B-körkort
- Erfarenhet inom SCADA system, projekthanteringssystem och informationshanteringssystem samt auktorisation enligt elsäkerhetslagen nivå A är meriterande

Dina arbetsuppgifter
Som projektledare har du ansvar för ett antal projekt inom vårt distributionsnät. Arbetet går ut på att planera och samordna projekten samt driva dem i mål. Detta gör du med hög kvalitet, till rätt kostnad och inom utsatta tidsramar. Dina kontaktytor är många, i ditt jobb kommer du att arbeta med konsulter, leverantörer, kommuner och myndigheter. Förutom det har du daglig kontakt med dina kollegor från montörssidan eftersom du också är byggledare för de projekt som du driver.

- självständigt planera, driva och föra projekt i mål inom utsatta tidsramar och med hög kvalitet
- ha budgetansvar för aktuella projekt
- vara samordnande kontaktperson för alla inblandade inom respektive projekt
- ofta vara ute på plats vid pågående projekt och koordinera och leda arbetet ihop med montörerna och entreprenörer

In the role as Electronics Engineer, you are part of a multinational research and development team in Sickla developing industrial tightening tools, control systems and service solutions for the assembly industry. Your role
You design, maintain, improve and implement hardware for the existing generation of power tools and assembly systems, mainly our battery powered tools. Main responsibilities:
We are looking for a candidate with proven expertise in RF filter technologies, especially for radio base station applications, to contribute to our world-leading radio solutions by:
Proposing and developing novel filter/multiplexer concepts and solutions for radio base stations, with special focus on 5G massive MIMO active antenna units (AAUs) and macro remote radio units (RRUs)•

In-depth understanding of filter circuit theory.
Hands-on experience in designing, characterizing, tuning, and troubleshooting filters/multiplexers.
Familiar with various RF measurement instruments, e.g. vector network analyzers (VNAs), signal analyzers, vector signal generators, etc.
Good communication, documentation, presentation skills in written and spoken English.
Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Microwave Technology, Wireless Communications, Computer Science, Engineering Physics or similar technical field is required. A PhD degree in a relevant area is highly preferred.
Ability to formulate technical issues and solve them independently.

The Process Engineer is the overall responsible engineer for equipment design after purchase order, through FAT at the supplier site all the way to commissioning and process engineering before handover to manufacturing. They will be the liaison between the commissioning lessons learned being translated into future improved design.
The Process Equipment Engineer is responsible for working with the suppliers and a cross functional Northvolt team to deliver the detailed design of cutting-edge manufacturing equipment all the way through FAT, lead commissioning and provide guidance and directions to launch support teams.
This role will allow you to contribute to the launch of cell manufacturing equipment take your current understanding of the equipment and process and utilize it to pave the way for future upgrades and designs.
This role requires the ability to collaborate with multiple different teams and personalities, time management skills, design experience, commissioning experience, organizational skills, problem solving skills and willingness to step into and lead commissioning when needed. Deep understanding of the process steps involved in cell manufacturing is not mandatory but a plus.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
Own and lead commissioning activities on site and support handover to manufacturing
Lead detailed design and process engineering from PO to FAT for manufacturing equipment
Lead design reviews and FMEAs with suppliers and approve machine design concepts, technical drawings and documentation
Provide feedback and guidance to suppliers to ensure equipment quality, technical specifications and CE standards are met
Develop and issue DOEs and schedule process and equipment trials at supplier and Northvolt manufacturing
Lead the definition and release of standards for manufacturing processes
HAZOP and risk assessment completion
Train and guide new process engineers and support functions
Required education experience

The Process Engineer is the overall responsible engineer for equipment design after purchase order, through FAT at the supplier site all the way to commissioning and process engineering before handover to manufacturing. They will be the liaison between the commissioning lessons learned being translated into future improved design.
The Process Equipment Engineer is responsible for working with the suppliers and a cross functional Northvolt team to deliver the detailed design of cutting-edge manufacturing equipment all the way through FAT, lead commissioning and provide guidance and directions to launch support teams.
This role will allow you to contribute to the launch of cell manufacturing equipment take your current understanding of the equipment and process and utilize it to pave the way for future upgrades and designs.
This role requires the ability to collaborate with multiple different teams and personalities, time management skills, design experience, commissioning experience, organizational skills, problem solving skills and willingness to step into and lead commissioning when needed. Deep understanding of the process steps involved in cell manufacturing is not mandatory but a plus.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
Own and lead commissioning activities on site and support handover to manufacturing
Lead detailed design and process engineering from PO to FAT for manufacturing equipment
Lead design reviews and FMEAs with suppliers and approve machine design concepts, technical drawings and documentation

Develop and issue DOEs and schedule process and equipment trials at supplier and Northvolt manufacturing

The Role
Your responsibilities will cover various areas. The regulatory demands, as well as formal customer requirements, are increasing and our product portfolio is getting more complex, with more electronics and software-based products. Your mission will be:
Review new and changed international legislations, directives and standards, as well as major customer requirements

Facilitate risk assessments and support the internal risk management process according to EN ISO 12100
Define product labeling and documentation requirements from a regulatory perspective
Assist in product safety and regulatory compliance reviews
Manage, establish and communicate processes and make sure they are followed

Academic education in engineering, mechanical or electrical
Knowledge and experience in working with directives, standards and certifications
Hands on knowledge in the application of product safety standards, as well as ISO 9000 and ISO 17025
Experience from risk management
Fluent in English. Swedish is preferable

We are currently looking for a Senior Power Electronics Designer with strong knowledge on DSP/CPLD/FPGA programming to our Engineering Competence Centre to take on the challenge within Power Electronics with completely Digital control. The work will be done in very close cooperation with our design teams in Kista and in China.  
In this position you will be responsible for design of converters in the field of power electronics with special focus on Digital control. The work includes analysis and experimental work in our lab environment.  
Tasks  
Responsible for design DC-DC, AC-DC, DC-AC converters.  
Responsible for programming DSP, CPLD and FPGA for converters.  
Responsible for detailed design and experimental verification of hardware and software in the lab. etc.  
Work with teammates to implement cost-effective/high efficient/high reliability power solutions for telecom power supplies.  
 Essential Skills required  
We expect more than 2 years’ experiences on Power Electronics Design including Digital controller CPLD/DSP/FPGA programming.  
We are also searching for persons with deep understanding of development of algorithms and of simulations.  
An experience from various CPU families is very much appreciated, especially from Texas instruments.  
The candidate should have solid experience of SMPS magnetic material selection and design and verification for mass production.  
We would prefer if the candidate has the ability to analyze the overall unit cost and its reliability and also possesses knowledge of lighting protection and grounding design in the power area.  
We also expect the candidate to have a sincere interest of novel power techniques and development trends.  
We require PhD degree in electrical engineering with mention on power electronics or equivalent background 
In this position it is necessary to be comfortable with hands-on work in a lab-environment and with a proven skill in simulation tools. For example, Mathlab/PSIM/MathCad.  
The candidate can of course communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
