To meet the industry’s ever-increasing need for tightening inaccessible joints and sensors, Atlas Copco Industrial Technique has developed its own range of high-end front attachments under the brand name “Saltus”. Saltus products are designed for a wide multi-brand portfolio of industrial tools, used in various applications by customers worldwide within aerospace and automotive industries.
With a business, centered on inaccessible joints, comes a need for special solutions. With a need for special solutions comes the need for customized designs, and with that need comes you! You will join a team within the Atlas Copco R&D division dedicated to this product group. We focus on development of customer centric solutions, bringing innovation to both mechanical designs and processes to deliver unmatched customer value.
The position
You will be responsible for handling customized solutions, working as our specialist on analyzing customer cases and designing according to set requirements. Some projects will be quick and straightforward, and others will require more time, project management and close coordination with our global Customer Centers. You will be the person to make the call if and how we can provide a solution. After the analysis phase of the project, you will be responsible for finalizing the customized design. All this with emphasis on high sense of urgency and customer centricity.
This work will be in direct collaboration with our Marketing team, where you will be an invaluable part in providing the solution to our customers. You will spread knowledge and findings about our customers’ needs within the engineering team and how we can improve our designs. Since we are a small team you will most likely perform other tasks outside of the normal job description, depending on your skillset and interests. This opens for you to change roles within the team as it grows.

About you
We believe that you hold at least a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Work experience after graduation is a merit, a person with the right mindset is of equal importance. You need to be fluent in English, both spoken and written. You probably like puzzles and having an action-packed and diverse workday. You have the customer as your focus. You enjoy interaction with other roles within the company and colleagues in Customer Centers around the world, to find the perfect solution.
