Om rollen

Som Supplier Quality Manager hos en av våra kunder inom tillverkande industri är du ansvarig för kvalitetssäkring av företagets befintliga produkter samt nya produkter inom tilldelad kategori. Du kommer att vara placerad i Stockholm och ansvarar för kvalitetskraven i offertförfrågningar, avtal och inköpsorder och utför proaktiva och korrigerande åtgärder gentemot leverantörer. Arbetet utförs i nära samarbete med övriga kvalitetsfunktioner på företaget. Resor i tjänsten förekommer.

Huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter:

Kvalitetssäkra inköpta artiklar och material
 Ansvara för kvalitetskraven i offertförfrågningar, avtal och inköpsordrar
Genomföra leverantörsrevisioner
Delta i kvalificering av nya leverantörer
Övervaka leverantörernas kvalitetsprestanda
Koordinera reklamationsärenden och planera och följa upp nödvändiga åtgärder

Erfarenhet och kompetens

För framgång i rollen som Supplier Quality Manager är det viktigt att du minst har några års erfarenhet av kvalitetssäkring och att du har god kunskap om kvalitetsverktyg såsom rotorsaksanalys, FMEA, 8D och PPAP. Högskoleutbildning inom relevant område är meriterande. Du är en strukturerad person med ett analytiskt sinne.

Mission
As an SQE, you will be responsible for quality assurance activities. You will be a key player approving the supplier in the selection process and actively support the producing plants and R&D development projects. You will build up and maintain supplier relationship and quality performance according to the strategy of the sourcing department.

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, SQE, you will be a member of the supplier quality engineering team in the strategic global sourcing department. The team is responsible for the supplier selection process and to manage, develop and support the suppliers delivering to our plants and central warehouse in matters concerning quality. This is a key role to secure performance from our external suppliers to reach quality targets and our customer´s requirements and expectations.

Your job responsibilities are including - but not limited to - the following:
Drive development and improvement activities in cooperation with suppliers and internal resources
Support in development of production, verification, and test methods at suppliers and internally together with R&D and the sourcing department
Supplier audits
Support and develop suppliers concerning quality assurance
Supplier quality KPI management and review, evaluation, and follow-up
Initiate and perform root cause analysis and corrective actions
Supplier Relationship Management - act as the quality interface and functional owner concerning quality and production towards suppliers

What we expect from you
As an ideal candidate you have experience working as an SQE/SQA. You have experience working with manufacturing processes for electronics. Experience from other manufacturing processes such as machining and casting is an advantage.

Preferably, you also have experience working in an environment controlled by quality systems, management systems / ERP, and standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. You have a solid knowledge about modern production philosophies and are confident using FMEA, corrective action methods and tools (such as 8D), Gauge R&R (MSA), SPC/CPK. You also have understanding of drawings and specifications for manufacturing.

Good knowledge of LEAN and various manufacturing processes is an advantage.

You have an University degree from an applicable technical field and/or or experience that can be considered equivalent.

Given the nature of the role and our business area, you need to have a solid technical interest, a commercial mindset, and a positive attitude. Other than that, you have a strong inner drive and the ability to act and take ownership of the tasks at hand, always maintaining focus on results and with the aim to deliver value to the company.

The successful candidate must be fluent in English, both written and spoken form, other languages will be considered an advantage.
